Microsoft Outlook Inbox Repair Tool Directions and Advise

1. Go into Windows Explorer to:

c:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\

2. Double click on SCANPST

3. Than type in the path below to Scan and Repair. Use your computer's details (path).

Subject: Path to Scan .pst

C:\Documents and Settings\Tom Forrest\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst

If you upgrade to Windows XP and Outlook 2003 you should not have this problem anymore. I have not had to run the inbox repair tool since I upgraded. So just make Bill Gates richer and everything will be fine, LOL.
