This is information on web site tracking, tracking of web visitors, web analytics, etc. answering some of my of my clients questions.

The least expensive way to track visitors from the search engines and paid Internet ads is for me to forward copies like below to you.

This software costs between $40 -$100 per month, depending on how many features you want. This is paid to a third party software vendor and does not include costs to set it all up and manage it. The set up and management costs are $1000 - $3000 per year.

I think for now, it is best if I monitor your results and send you reports monthly, that way it does not cost you anymore money.

The disadvantage of SEO is that it takes ongoing months of work and waiting for the search engines to index all the work I do. The advantage is that people put more value into non paid listings in search engines.

I recommend to almost all my clients that we experiment with paid ads and see if it works for them. For some clients it does work and for some clients it does not. I think all marketing and advertising is that way, try it and see what works. The other benefit of paid ads, is that you receive more visitors right away. You would definitely receive more web visitors if we added paid advertising, the question is if it would be a good return on investment for you. From my experience with my web sites and many clients, is that paid ads work for about 50% of my clients. They are so many factors involved, I can not explain them all here.
