History of Georgia
The history of Georgia is really fascinating.  There are some interesting things, some sad things, and more.  A very sad thing was that in the 1800s all of the Cherokee Indians were forced to leave Georgia and walk the whole distance to Oklahoma.  US soldiers got 17,000 Indians (against their will) to go.  During the journey many Indians fell down and kissed the ground.  While many left the group and went to a nearby tree and started to hug it.  These people had so much love for their state and they really didn't want to go.  Sad to say that 4,000 Indians died during this hard journey.  But now in the present Georgia has been very successful.  The original coke-a-cola was made there and that brings a lot of attraction.  Did you know that the first cokes were green and had traces of cocaine in them.
